Do you love anchors? Do you enjoy taking pictures & blogging? Are you a Delta Gamma girl by any chance? Do you love Kimmie Carter’s jewelry and apparel? If so, you could be one of our “It” Girls!!
We are looking for 6 qualified college students to be part of our “It” Girl intern team. “It” Girls will take and share creative fashion photos and write their own blog posts to engage our existing fans and create buzz to generate new ones through our social media channels. Do you think you have what it takes?
This is a remote internship will allow you to juggle your personal schedules and even part-time jobs. We want you to enjoy flexible hours and have fun while gaining valuable work experience, building your resume, and obtaining a job reference. One outstanding intern will be considered for a social marketing assistant position in Summer 2014.

I had such a great time answering interview questions and it was refreshing to me personally to recapture my business motto and behind story. I couldn’t wait till the publish day and it’s so astonishing to see a published article. This magazine is filled with beauty, health, fashion and inspiring words. ♥ Kimmie Carter has come a long way and it’s finally Launch Day ♥
It feels like it was just yesterday that I told my friends about my new business plan, and here I am starting the first step in making the Kimmie Carter jewelry and apparel line into something great!
The whole idea was created not even a year ago. I started designing last summer, going to trade shows, getting samples made, and in all areas pretty much going full speed. Then in December, after getting my first samples made, I found out my husband and I were going to have our first child. (Our Baby Carter is due on August 5th, 2013 ♥.) Then came the nightmare that was my morning sickness!!! I couldn’t do anything for a few months! I was so excited to get back to work in March, and since then I’ve been working so hard to make the KC online store launch today!
It was simply mind blowing to see my designs come to life. When I first received my original samples, it felt so unreal and I couldn’t believe I had created something so awesome. I did, however, have a lot more work to do to make sure everything would be ready. I’ve been working so hard and have enjoyed every second of it because I love what I do! I do everything myself from product design to web design and everything in between; photo shoots (models and products), promo materials, marketing plans, you name it, I did it all. I just love wearing many different hats. ♥ Although I’ve faced some challenges along the way, I was able to make it through with the support of my loved ones. Thank you so much for supporting me and believing in me everyone! ♥ And special thanks to my sweetest hubby, Matt. ♥ I wouldn’t have been able to make it this far without you!! I am the luckiest girl on earth. ♥
As happy as I am to be in the beginning stages of the KC success story, I am even more excited to see how far Kimmie Carter, both the person and the store, can go!!
